About
The Mission
C.L.C. classes aim to create a space space for unruly bodies to explore what it means to feel present, grounded, and fulfilled through guided movement. Our goal is to feel good in our skin, leading with pleasure and inhabiting our bodies as a place that feels safe, shameless, and sexy. By opening ourselves up to movements outside our comfort zone, we learn to place trust in our body, seeing our physical self as a whole being worthy of respect and appreciation.

The Instructor
Cari began her dance journey at three years old, continuing her training in jazz, hip hop, tap, musical theater, and contemporary, into adulthood. Growing up, dance allowed Cari to feel present in her body as she learned how to manage lifelong chronic pain from autoimmune conditions. Now teaching dance in the NH Seacoast, her goal is to create classes that embrace diversity, inclusivity, and individuality.

Inclusive Dance Environment
Classes utilize inclusive language, hands-on assistance, and personalized alternative movements. C.L.C. classes focus on highlighting individual ability. Rather than celebrating our body's ability to "keep up with" or replicate choreography, we challenge ourselves to break free from comparison entirely, celebrating each body for its ability to embrace what feels pleasurable, nurturing, and transformative.
Accessibility Accommodations
No prior dance experience is required to join a C.L.C. class. All choreography is beginner friendly, taking into consideration the range of mobility and flexibility in each dancer's body. Dancers are encouraged to find their own flow, moving freely from a place of compassion, acceptance, and self-care.
